Slanted Ink

       I am a children's author from Northeast Ohio.

       As a former librarian, I learned how important reading to children can be. Along with publishing independently, I have been published by Sterling Children's Books, Schoolwide, Inc., Greenhaven Press, Enslow, and Rosen publishers.

    I have also been published in various books and magazines, along with two picture books, Ah-Choo! with co-author Lana Wayne Koehler, Sterling Children’s Books, 2016, and My Underpants are Made from Plants, with co-author Vera J. Hurst, originally published through Schoolwide, Inc., 2015.

        I have done professional critiquing for SCBWI, Third Thursday Publishing, LLC, and various individual authors. I am a partner in an editing service, Two-4-One Kid Critiques, LLC, with author and friend, Jean Daigneau.
